notes: Developed by Harry Murray. Can be fished as a streamer or nymph. As a streamer it matches: Mad toms, Sculpins, and Shiners. As a nymph it matches: Hellgamites, Leeches, Damselflies, and Caddis larva. Instructions: Use 10 to 25 pieces of herl depending on hook size. Attach the rabbit fur by mean of a spinning loop. Trim fur in a general minnow shape-- flat on bottom, full sides, and longer on top. You should have a fat head which slims down to the point where the body meets the ostrich herl. |
