notes: tail: divided in three, trim sides shorter then center I beleive the original recipe was in American Angular mag. I did not originate. I did modify slightly. Fly works best in late spring through early fall in the a.m. when crickets are most likely to have fallen into the water. The extra time to split the tail (3) is worth it. Center should be twice length of outside two. I use four strands of herl for legs, knot then on lower portion of leg I clip off three strands. This gives a much thicker thigh (more realistic).
